WHAT WE DO
We take pride in our menu development and analysis. A passion of ours is to create innovative menus that students love. We prepare customized cycle menus that incorporate the latest trends in foodservice. We also focus on giving the students options using our bar concepts, as research demonstrates an increase in satisfaction and participation when students choose their meal components. We also help schools conduct healthy fundraisers that are compliant with Smart Snacks regulations. Our dietitians create menus using USDA approved nutrition software. This software provides nutritional analysis, ensures NSLP compliance and provides cost accounting. We assist with procurement, and ensure efficiency using commodities.
Schools districts, students, and their parents have access to our interactive school lunch menu online or through a smart phone application. This tool also includes helpful information such as nutritional facts, allergens, and upcoming cafeteria events.
Pisanick Partners can help improve your food production operations. We specialize in standardized recipe development complete with Child Nutrition labels. Our production records help forecast and control menu production. Our team ensures regulatory compliance by following HACCP guidelines. Additionally, we assist with equipment purchasing and maintenance.
Financial management is key for maintaining a successful school lunch program. Our Key Performance Indicator (KPI) service can help you track your program’s performance. We developed a software tool to track your program and glean data for improvements as well as illustrate great work being done in your school district. We track meals per labor hour, meal counting and menu pricing all of which leads to proper budget management.
Presentations for Staff, Students, and PTA
Pisanick Partners is passionate about our vision that the cafeteria is an extension of the classroom. We regularly give presentations on how smarter lunchrooms can work for everyone. Pisanick Partners is enthusiastic about spreading the word about healthy school lunches that students love, and we can help you connect with your community.

Professional Standards Trainings
To address the recent implementation of required documentation of continued education and training of all foodservice employees, Pisanick Partners has created numerous training seminars on topics that qualify as professional standards training. We educate staff on how to properly document and track their training for submission to your Department of Education. Additionally, we offer on-site customized training on specific topics as needed.
Whether you already have a wellness policy in place, or if you need help starting your program from the ground up, Pisanick Partners will make sure you are compliant with the requirements of your Department of Education. We help develop programs for student as well as staff wellness. We will consider the local school wellness policy, stakeholder participation, public notification, local discretion, and will monitor implementation.
Farm to School
We believe that the cafeteria is an extension of the classroom. Presentations in the classroom integrate monthly topics displayed in the cafeteria. We incorporate Farm to School produce in our menus and promote fresh produce through innovative events.
Pisanick Partners is proud to give back to the community. We have accepted dietetic interns from Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals, University of Akron, as well as diet tech interns from Cuyahoga Community College. Interns have opportunities to work with our USDA approved nutritional software program, develop farm to school projects, attend training presentations as well as be a part of our on-site visits to the numerous school districts Pisanick Partners works with.
